Ship Technical Superintendent

For a primary italian owner, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Ship Technical Superintendent. DUTIES: · Project management, including but not limited to Plan, budget, organize, direct and control tasks, people and resources to meet changing operational and technical demands · Plan and manage dry docking process, would also be required to plan and implement system of vessel inspections and audits · Support and liaise with safety department to ensure Health Safety Environmental Management System adherence · Provide advice and guidance on operational and technical matters to crew, senior management, clients and third parties as required · Responsible for safe and cost effective operational and technical management of vessels · Optimize the application of existing and emerging technology to increase vessel and equipment reliability and performance · Control and manage all maintenance and modification engineering activities · International travel · Ensure vessels' operational status is maintained and meets standards required by statutory and classification bodies at all times REQUIREMENTS: navigation experience as chief engineer on tanker vessels experience in the role ashore Work place - Ravenna Contractual / Economic Conditions – to be commisurated to the candidate.
