Data Engineer

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is looking for a AWS Fullstack Data Engineer in Turin for one of our top clients. With a large digital transformation already starting in the Group, we aim to implement and integrate new complex interfaces, upgrade their systems and technical tools. Their primary role will be to build strong technical arguments in technologies in data integrations and BigData areas (focused on Open Source tools). This is an engagement with one of our manufacturing domain customers. As part of this engagement, TCS would be responsible for solving complex problems including business and technical complexity. Responsibilities: Create effective documentation for business and operational teams. Ask the right technical questions about codebase and code quality, CI/CD as a general rule of work (automatic tasks, instead of manual). Discuss with vendors/partners about possible solutions/limits/properties in technical integrations and different data architectures. Bring creative solutions to wicked engineering problems. Encourage knowledge sharing across organizations. Requirements: Italian and English communication proficiency. Understanding of mid-level Databricks or other modern BigData solutions (i.e. data catalogs, compute engines, SQL engines, observability layers, etc.). AWS knowledge (Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, Powertools). Understanding of data pipelines in Apache Spark, Apache Airflow and similar orchestrators. Experience with one or more coding languages such as Python, Java, Scala, Rust. Advantages: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degrees.
