Cloud Engineer - AWS

Role : Cloud Engineer Experience : 5-8 Yrs Location : Bangalore Notice Period : Immediate-30 days Skills Required(Mandatory) : AWS, RDS, Terraform, Python, CDK, ECS, EKS, Docker, GitLab, Linux, Jenkins Duties and Responsibilities : - Provision, monitor and maintain production and test environments at AWS. - Troubleshoot and resolve alerts, failures, and cloud operations issues. - Provide hands-on support to CloudOps and DevOps teams to ensure project milestones and goals are met. - Code, debug, and maintain infrastructure as code. - Design and provision systems for logging and alerting across the enterprise using open source and commercial tools and products. - Adhere to company-approved tools, processes, and best practices. - Code review of IaC and other merge requests from team members. - Work with management team to analyse AWS spend and optimize costs. - Design and implement backup strategies and participate in disaster recovery exercises. - Ensure processes adhere to compliance standards. Skills and Requirements : - Strong knowledge of CDK with any language or Terraform with Python and CloudFormation. - Strong knowledge of GitLab including pipelines security tooling. - Strong knowledge of Linux - Linux Administration, RHEL. - Strong knowledge with AWS EFS, ECS, Fargate, S3, RDS, CloudTrail and other AWS tools. - Experience with containers and container orchestration tools such as AWS ECS. - Experience developing, managing, and deploying Docker images. - Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or others. - Strong knowledge of security principles as they relate to AWS and the SDLC pipeline.
