Product Manager

As a Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our product offerings. You will work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and cross-functional teams to ensure we build the right functionality that meets customer needs. This role focuses on our flagship Payroll platform, a key component of the PrismHR technology. Roles and Responsibilities : - Define the product strategy and roadmap. - Drive product and business planning processes for cross-functional teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders and UX Designers to translate customer needs into a prioritized product backlog (Epic > User Stories > Acceptance Criteria). - Ensure the creation and completion of User Stories to a "Ready for Development" status. - Analyze competitor offerings to identify opportunities for differentiation. - Develop and implement product requirements to ensure business objectives are met. - Manage production timelines across multiple departments. - Evaluate new product ideas and strategize go-to-market plans. - Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate closely with Engineering and Quality Assurance (QA) teams. - Act as a primary point of contact for escalated issues routed through Support and Professional Services. - Work with the Technical Documentation team and Support to define and communicate product changes. - Manage customer feedback through User Influencer Groups and maintain engagement. - Maintain a centrally located, 12-month product roadmap and backlog. - Partner with QA to assess product fixes and enhancements. - Bridge communication between product teams, support, and professional services to identify product improvements. - Stay updated on Payroll-related trends and regulatory changes. Skills and Qualifications : - 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst. - Experience collaborating with teams to refine project, process, and application needs. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Ability to balance technical and business acumen to solve customer problems effectively. - Experience with HR platforms and core functionalities (preferred). - Expertise in Agile environments, including participation in standups, grooming sessions, and sprint demos. - High initiative, problem-solving skills, and adaptability. Preferred Qualifications : - Passion for software product management and continuous learning. - Experience using PrismHR or other Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms. - Certifications in Software Business Analysis, Product Ownership, or Agile frameworks. - Knowledge of Pragmatic Institute's (or equivalent) Product Management framework (ref:hirist.tech)
