About the Product Lifecycle Management Team : The Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team at Tejas Networks, focusing on the wireline sector, is responsible for overseeing the development, deployment, and maintenance of wireline communication products. This involves coordinating product design, optimizing performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and managing product updates throughout its lifecycle to meet customer and market needs effectively. The team also works on integrating new technologies and enhancing the efficiency of wireline networks. Roles & Responsibilities : As a Senior Product Line Manager, you will lead strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You will manage the overall team performance, handle appraisals, allocate resources, and drive project execution. In addition, you will mentor managers, foster innovation, manage stakeholder communications, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality results. Key responsibilities include the development and management of Tejas Packet Transport Products in line with market requirements and the enhancement of existing products and features. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Tejas products and serve as the single point of authority on roadmaps, features, costing/margins, EOE, EOS, and EOL decisions. You will also support sales and presales teams in making informed decisions on product sales, considering the customer business, margins, and long-term potential. You will need to have a comprehensive understanding of the router and switch market, as well as competition. Mandatory Skills : - Experience with MPLS-TP products and 10 years of expertise in L2/L3 switch and router products. - Deep knowledge of L2/L3 switching and routing protocols. - A highly analytical self-starter with excellent decision-making skills. - Strong communication and positive interpersonal skills. - Ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization. - Comfortable advising senior sales management on key deals to support business decisions. Desired Skills : - Understanding of Ethernet and IP networking principles such as IEEE 802.3, 802.3ad, RSTP, ERPS, IP Routing Protocol, OSPF, IS-IS. - Attention to detail, patience, good communication, and people skills are essential in this role. - Proficiency in PLM software tools like Jira, Confluence, Power-BI, and MS-Office. - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline product development. - Skilled in identifying process improvements and managing efficient product life cycles from concept to end-of-life.
