The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database design and modeling, along with over 10 years of experience with SQL Server or similar databases. Experience with caching solutions such as MemSQL or GridGain is a significant advantage. The candidate should also possess strong data modeling skills, familiarity with Unix scripting, and the ability to effectively communicate in a fast-paced, global project environment. Key Design, develop, and optimize database architectures to meet the needs of various applications while ensuring high performance and reliability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective database solutions. - Implement data modeling strategies to support business objectives and enhance data integrity. - Utilize SQL Server or similar databases for efficient data management and reporting. - Leverage caching solutions such as MemSQL or GridGain to improve data access speeds and application performance. - Write and maintain Unix scripts for automation and data processing tasks. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior database developers and team members. - Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance database capabilities.
