Wrok Mode Hybrid : 3days Mandatory Role : Postgres DBA SQL - Strong hands-on experience in managing PostgreSQL databases, ensuring their availability, reliability, and security. - Expertise in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning. - Experience in high availability, replication, and clustering techniques. - Managing users, roles, and access controls to maintain database security. - Ability to write complex SQL queries efficiently and optimize query performance. - Experience in reviewing and providing feedback on stored procedures, functions, and SQL scripts. - Proficiency in creating and managing indexes, partitions, and query execution plans to improve performance. - Deep understanding of PostgreSQL architecture, database internals, and storage mechanisms. - Support both development and administration aspects of PostgreSQL databases. - Collaborate with developers to design efficient database structures and queries. - Analyze slow queries and optimize them to improve application performance. - Implement indexing, partitioning, and other database tuning techniques. - Conduct periodic performance audits and fine-tune the database environment. - Develop shell scripts for automation of routine tasks such as backups, monitoring, and alerts. - Proactively monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability. - Set up automated alerts and logs to detect performance anomalies. - Assist in data migration projects using PostgreSQL utilities. - Conduct regular database maintenance to ensure optimal performance. - Plan and execute major version upgrades with minimal downtime. - Shell scripting knowledge for automation task and monitoring alert. - Must have good communication skills Good to have skill : 1. Infrastructure monitoring (AWS) 2. Knowledge of ITIL Framework 3.
