Software Asset & License Management Engineer - PowerShell Scripting

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Software Asset and License Management Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and reconciling data from various sources to support our License Management Team and stakeholders. You will develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, generate revenue reports, and provide crucial insights for licensing optimization. Your proficiency in SQL, advanced Excel, and data visualization tools will be essential for success in this data-intensive position. Responsibilities : - Extract, analyze, and reconcile data from various sources to support license management activities. - Generate and distribute weekly revenue reports related to license management. - Reconcile sales orders with license management opportunities in Salesforce. - Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for tracking real-time insights, KPIs, and metrics. - Prepare customer leads lists for mid-market and small customer programs. - Support mid-market teams with ad-hoc licensing tasks, Salesforce inquiries, and reporting queries. - Create and maintain data models, ensuring accurate database structures. - Utilize Power BI and/or Tableau to visualize data and present findings effectively. - Leverage advanced Excel functions for data analysis and manipulation. - Identify opportunities for process automation and contribute to the development of automated solutions. - Collaborate with global teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. - Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing clear and concise data insights. - Demonstrate strong customer and relationship management skills. - Liaise with global teams, requiring flexibility with working hours (EU/US hours). Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree or higher in Technical, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). - 3-5 years of experience in reporting and data analysis. - Proficiency in SQL, advanced Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI and/or Tableau). - Strong understanding of database structures and data modeling. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. - Ability to multitask and work in an agile and dynamic environment. - Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset. - Salesforce (SFDC) knowledge. - Licensing knowledge. - Understanding of client reporting and ecosystem. - Experience with PowerShell scripting for data extraction and manipulation. - Experience with process automation tools.
