Codeft Digital - DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Delhi. As a DevOps Engineer atCodeft Digital, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our software development and IT operations teams. You will be responsible for optimizing our software development lifecycle, ensuring seamless and efficient deployment of our products and services, and maintaining the reliability and scalability of our infrastructure. Your expertise in automation, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and cloud technologies will be instrumental in driving our engineering efficiency and ensuring a smooth customer : - Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring rapid and reliable software releases. - Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of our cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Implement and manage containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to ensure scalability, resilience, and efficient resource utilization of our applications. - Set up and maintain comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues. - Collaborate closely with software development teams to understand their needs and provide guidance on DevOps best practices, ensuring seamless integration of development and operations workflows. - Work with IT operations teams to ensure the stability, security, and high availability of our production environment. - Automate routine administrative tasks to improve efficiency and reduce the risk of human error. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures. - Implement and enforce security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle and infrastructure management. - Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design of scalable and reliable systems. - Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps trends and technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve our processes and infrastructure. - Document processes and configurations for knowledge sharing and maintainability. - Mentor and guide junior team members on DevOps principles and practices. Required Skills and Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience 3-5 as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering or system administration role. - Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices. - Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, or Ruby for automation. - Experience with version control systems, particularly Git and associated workflows (e., Gitflow). - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI. - Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes). - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their services. - Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. - Working knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Splunk). - Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls. - Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line interface. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills (ref:hirist.tech)
