Profile : SAP BASIS Administrator. Experience : 2 Years. Location : Mumbai. Job Description Overview : An SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for the management of the SAP environment. The role includes configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment on an ongoing basis as well as scheduling and executing the SAP transport system. Key Responsibilities : - System Administration : Install, configure, maintain, and support SAP systems, including SAP ERP, SAP NetWeaver, SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP Web Dispatcher. - Performance Tuning : Provide performance tuning, problem analysis, upgrades, and system administration for databases and SAP instances. - Monitoring and Troubleshooting : Monitor system performance, perform troubleshooting, and resolve issues to ensure system stability and performance. - Transport Management : Manage the SAP transport system, including scheduling and executing transports. - Security and Compliance : Ensure the security and compliance of the SAP environment, including user administration and authorization management. - Backup and Recovery : Implement and manage backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability. - Upgrades and Patching : Plan and execute system upgrades, support packs, and patches. - Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of the SAP environment, including system configurations, procedures, and policies. Qualifications : Education : Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in SAP Basis administration. Skills : - Proficiency in SAP Basis administration tasks such as client copies, database refreshes, patching, and transport management. - Knowledge of SAP systems like ECC, Solution Manager, TREX, Content Server, Portal, and SAP HANA. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
