Senior Cloud Administrator - AWS

Job Title : Senior Cloud Administrator Experience : 3-5 Years Location : Pune, Kharadi (Hybrid) This requirement is for one of MNC and offfice location would be Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Cloud Administrator to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our applications and services. You will play a key role in implementing and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and managing containerized applications with Kubernetes. This is a hybrid role based in Kharadi, Pune, offering a blend of remote and in-office : AWS Cloud Management : - Administer and maintain our AWS infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, IAM, RDS, and other relevant services. - Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform (mention if preferred). - Monitor cloud resources for performance, availability, and cost optimization. - Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues in a timely manner. - Implement and enforce security best practices within the AWS environment. Kubernetes Management : - Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes. - Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters, including node management, networking, and storage. - Implement monitoring and logging solutions for Kubernetes environments. - Troubleshoot issues within Kubernetes clusters and deployed applications. CI/CD Pipeline Management : - Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. - Integrate various development and testing tools into the CI/CD process. - Automate software build, test, and deployment processes. - Ensure the efficiency and reliability of the CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration and Communication : - Collaborate effectively with development, QA, and other engineering teams. - Communicate technical information clearly and concisely. - Participate in on-call rotations as needed. - Document cloud infrastructure, configurations, and Skills : - Proven experience (3-5 years) in managing and administering AWS cloud environments. - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management. - Strong understanding and practical experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. - Solid understanding of networking principles and security best practices in cloud environments. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python). - Excellent communication and collaboration Skills : - Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP). - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform. - Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). - Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices. - Relevant AWS and/or Kubernetes Skills : AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins) (ref:hirist.tech)
