Shopify Developer. Job Description : We are seeking a seasoned Senior Shopify Developer with 4-5 years of comprehensive experience in developing, optimizing, and maintaining Shopify stores. This role requires a deep understanding of both frontend and backend aspects of the Shopify platform. The ideal candidate will be proficient in customizing Shopify functionalities, integrating payment gateways, and deploying third-party plugins to enhance user experiences and streamline operations. Key Responsibilities : - Develop, customize, and manage comprehensive Shopify stores that meet business requirements. - Implement robust front-end designs and functionalities using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Build and maintain scalable backend solutions on Shopify, including application integrations and API connections. - Create bespoke Shopify themes and change pre-existing templates per pre-defined brand guidelines. - Expertly handle Shopify Payments setup, configuration, and optimization to ensure seamless payment transactions. - Integrate multiple payment gateways and ensure compliance with financial and data security regulations. - Develop and implement third-party Shopify plugins and ensure compatibility with existing systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement marketplace integrations that expand business reach and functionality. - Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure optimal functionality and user experience. Relevant Experience & Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. - 4-5 years of professional experience in Shopify platform development, including significant exposure to both frontend and backend aspects. - Profound knowledge of Shopify's architecture, including Liquid templating, Shopify APIs, Admin Functions and its customization capabilities. - Strong experience with Shopify Payments and various payment gateways integration. - Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ES2015/ES6 and responsive design practices. - Experienced in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive unit tests for the developed functionality. - Experienced with third-party Shopify plugins and marketplace integrations. - Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. - Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. - Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
