Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

Senior QA Engineer (Arabic language mandatory) Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual and automated testing, ensuring high-quality software delivery. The role involves analyzing requirements, creating test cases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of applications. Scope of work : Senior QA Engineer will focus on automating testing processes for the Engine system and validating data throughout the development lifecycle. This includes : - Developing and executing automated test scripts for the Engine system to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability. - Validating data across various stages of the application to ensure accuracy and integrity. - Collaborating with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. - Identifying and reporting defects, providing detailed documentation to facilitate resolution. - Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies based on project requirements. Key Responsibilities : - Review and analyze requirements during the analysis phase to ensure clear expectations for the team. - Create, execute, and maintain test cases using various testing techniques. - Report and track bugs using Jira, ensuring timely resolution. - Develop and maintain traceability matrices to ensure all requirements are covered and track test coverage percentage. - Conduct manual testing and develop automated tests using Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, and other tools. - Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) and automate API testing using Postman and Rest Assured. - Utilize database management systems (SSMS, Oracle) for backend testing and data validation. - Troubleshoot and debug issues across different operating systems (Windows and Linux). - Work with message queuing and microservices systems to ensure integration quality. - Maintains the status of the project and works across teams to achieve group goals. - Mentors junior QA team members, providing guidance on best practices and testing methodologies. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement practices within the QA team. - Stay updated with industry trends and tools to enhance testing processes and methodologies. Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field. - ISTQB foundation level & Agile & Automation certificates are a must. - 8 years of experience in manual testing. - 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation. - Proficiency in common scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python). - Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Git. - Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic. Additional Skills : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Detail-oriented with a passion for quality assurance. - Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. - Familiarity with performance testing tools is a plus. - Experience with Red Hat OpenShift is a plus.
