SAP BYD Technical Support Consultant

Company : Talent Worx Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Position : SAP Business ByDesign (ByD) Technical Support Consultant Job Summary : Talent Worx is seeking a skilled SAP Business ByDesign (ByD) Technical Support Consultant to provide expert technical support, troubleshooting, and system optimization. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in ByD configurations, debugging, system integration, and performance tuning, ensuring seamless business operations for our clients. You will be responsible for resolving technical issues, optimizing system performance, and providing expert guidance to ensure client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities : - Handle and resolve SAP ByD technical incidents and service requests promptly. - Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and minimize system downtime. - Prioritize and manage incident tickets effectively. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ByD system configurations, workflows, and reports. - Analyze and debug system logs to identify root causes of technical issues. - Perform system performance optimization and tuning. - Ensure smooth data flow and integration between SAP ByD modules and third-party applications. - Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues. - Support data migration activities. - Utilize SAP ByD tools and functionalities to enhance efficiency and automate repetitive support tasks. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and functional consultants, to resolve escalated technical issues. - Provide clear and concise technical documentation for escalation purposes. - Proactively monitor SAP ByD system performance and identify potential issues. - Analyze system performance metrics and recommend improvements. - Implement performance monitoring tools and techniques. - Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides. - Mentor junior consultants and share best practices for troubleshooting and issue resolution. SAP ByD Architecture & Configuration : - Strong understanding of SAP ByD architecture, system configurations, and administration. - Proficiency in using SAP ByD debugging tools and techniques. Report Development & Workflow Automation : - Experience in developing and troubleshooting SAP ByD reports. - Knowledge of workflow automation using SAP ByD functionalities. - Knowledge of Web Services, APIs, and SAP Cloud Applications Studio for ByD extensions. - Experience with integration troubleshooting. - Expertise in General Ledger (GL) configuration and cost center management within SAP ByD. - Data Migration support experience. - Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) integration with SAP ByD is a plus. Qualifications : - Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience as an SAP ByD Technical Support Consultant or similar role. - SAP ByD certifications are a plus. - Experience working in a support environment with SLAs. - Experience working with ticketing systems.
