Splunk Administrator

Job Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Splunk Administrator to join our dynamic IT Services and Consulting team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Splunk infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. You will leverage your deep expertise in Splunk administration to support our clients' monitoring and analytics needs, driving efficiency and enhancing operational visibility. Your Job : - Design and configure Splunk architecture solutions for monitoring and analytics. - Administer Splunk Cloud and on-premise components, including Heavy Forwarders, Deployment Servers, and Universal Forwarders. - Onboard data into Splunk from diverse sources (logs, HEC, syslog, network devices, Windows events, scripts). - Install, configure, and utilize Splunk Apps and Add-ons. - Parse and mask data before ingestion into Splunk. - Develop dashboards and reports to provide continuous visibility into application performance. - Configure alerts and reports for proactive monitoring. - Create automatic lookups, data models, and complex SPL queries. - Provide excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve Splunk-related issues. - Document processes, requirements, and operating procedures. - Coordinate with various stakeholders to address technical challenges. - Apply knowledge of ITIL frameworks (Incident Management, Problem Management, Event Management). - Participate in incident management and resolution processes. Your Capabilities : - Install, configure, and maintain Splunk infrastructure (indexers, search heads, forwarders). - Manage system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize Splunk searches and dashboards. - Implement access controls, manage data ingestion, and ensure compliance with security policies and best practices. - Installation, Configuration, Management of Splunk components. - Good knowledge Querying and Reporting. - Experience in Optimization of Splunk performance. - Good knowledge of Data onboarding from various sources. - Good knowledge of Python, Shell, PowerShell. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) or Master's degree in Engineering (ME/M.Tech) or MBA.
