Selenium and API Testing. Description : We are seeking a skilled Selenium and API Testing Engineer to join our QA team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, particularly with Selenium and API testing tools. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our applications through rigorous testing and collaboration with development teams. Responsibilities : - Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium for web applications. - Perform API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured. - Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionalities and design test cases accordingly. - Identify, record, and track bugs and issues through their lifecycle. - Participate in requirements review and design discussions to ensure testability of features. - Perform regression testing and ensure the quality of the application before release. - Generate test reports and metrics to communicate results and progress to stakeholders. Skills and Qualifications : - 4-7 years of experience in software testing and automation. - Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and its frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, etc. - Proficient in API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI. - Experience with programming languages like Java, Python, or C# for test automation. - Good understanding of testing methodologies, test management tools, and defect tracking systems. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices such as Jenkins, Git, or similar. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
