About the Role : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP FI Consultant to join our growing team in Pune. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in SAP FI configuration, customization, and support, with a proven track record of successful project implementations. This role requires a deep understanding of financial accounting principles and practices, coupled with hands-on experience in SAP FI modules, particularly within an S/4HANA environment and with SAP Public Cloud experience. Responsibilities : - SAP FI Configuration & Customization : Configure and customize SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting) to meet business requirements. - End-to-End Implementation : Participate in all phases of SAP FI implementation projects, from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. - SAP S/4HANA & Public Cloud Expertise : Apply practical experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Public Cloud environments. - Financial Accounting Processes : Design and implement financial accounting processes, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, and bank accounting. - Cross-Functional Integration : Collaborate with consultants from other SAP modules (CO, MM, SD) to ensure seamless integration and data flow. - Financial Reporting & Compliance : Develop and maintain financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant financial standards (IFRS, GAAP). - Closing Processes : Support and optimize period-end closing processes. - Issue Resolution & Support : Provide timely and effective support to end-users, resolving issues and ensuring smooth system operation. - Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and training materials. - Requirement Gathering & Analysis : Conduct workshops and gather business requirements, translating them into technical specifications. - Testing & Quality Assurance : Perform thorough testing to ensure the quality and accuracy of SAP FI configurations and customizations. Mandatory Skills : - SAP Certified Professional. - Proven experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project. Required Skills : - 4 years of SAP FI experience with strong hands-on knowledge in configuration, customization, and support. - Minimum of 1 full SAP implementation project experience (preferably with S/4HANA). - Practical experience with SAP Public Cloud is essential. - Strong knowledge of FI sub-modules: GL, AP, AR, AA, and Bank Accounting. - Understanding of cross-functional integration with other SAP modules such as SAP CO, MM, and SD. - Experience in financial reporting, closing processes, and compliance with financial standards (IFRS, GAAP). - Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Nice to Have : - SAP certification in FI module. - Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP Activate methodology.
