Job description : Job Title : Cloud DevOps Lead. Hiring Location : Chennai / Pune. Experience Range : 8 years in a relevant DevOps or Cloud Engineering role. Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud DevOps Lead to lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS Cloud Services, Infrastructure as Code (IAC), Kubernetes, and a strong foundation in DevOps best practices. As a technical leader, you will drive automation, continuous integration/delivery, and foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the team. Key Responsibilities : - Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Pipeline Management : Lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure using AWS services and DevOps pipelines, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security across all systems. - Automation & Continuous Integration : Utilize tools such as Harness, Terraform, Cloud Formation, Kubernetes, and AWS services to drive automation, streamline CI/CD processes, and optimize deployment cycles. - Team Leadership & Mentorship : Provide technical leadership by coaching and mentoring junior team members, ensuring their growth in cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and technology. - Collaboration & Project Management : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication, clear project management, and efficient problem-solving. - Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving : Apply strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption. - Performance & Cost Optimization : Continuously evaluate and improve cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices to enhance performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. - Process Improvement & Best Practices : Foster a culture of accountability, attention to detail, and continuous improvement within the team. Required Skills : - AWS Cloud Expertise : Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, and others for managing cloud infrastructure. - DevOps Practices & Tools : Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD, Automation, and continuous integration. - Kubernetes & Container Orchestration : Strong experience in Kubernetes for container orchestration, ensuring the reliable deployment and scaling of applications. - Infrastructure as Code (IAC) : Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation for managing cloud resources programmatically. - Harness for CI/CD : Familiarity with Harness for CI/CD automation, focusing on deployment pipelines and continuous delivery. - Scripting & Automation : Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go for task automation and resolving technical issues. - Monitoring & Logging : Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Datadog for real-time system performance monitoring. - Security Best Practices : Knowledge of security best practices for cloud infrastructure, including IAM, encryption, and network security. - Microservices & Service Mesh : Experience with microservices architectures, service meshes (e.g, Istio), and API gateways for building scalable systems. - Communication & Collaboration : Excellent communication skills to work across teams, providing guidance and ensuring project goals are met on time. - Technical Leadership : Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, providing clear technical direction and ensuring the professional growth of junior members. Good-to-Have Skills : - CI/CD Tools : Experience with other CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI is a plus. - Cloud Security : Experience in applying security best practices to cloud infrastructure, specifically in AWS environments. - Containerization & Microservices : Advanced knowledge in containerized environments (e.g, Docker) and managing microservices-based applications. Certifications : AWS Certifications : AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Developer is highly desirable. Minimum Requirements : - 8 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Cloud Engineering roles. - Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services and Kubernetes. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation. - Proven track record of leadership, mentoring junior team members, and fostering team growth. - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
