Power Platform Manager

Talent Worx Role : Power Platform Manager Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Job Summary : The Power Platform Manager will be responsible for the strategic oversight of the development, implementation, and management of Microsoft Power Platform solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and project management skills to drive digital transformation, enhance business processes, and foster innovation across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex Power Platform projects, leading teams, and engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Key Responsibilities : Strategic Leadership & Vision : - Develop and execute a Power Platform strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives. - Identify opportunities to leverage the Power Platform to solve business challenges and drive innovation. - Provide thought leadership and guidance on Power Platform best practices, emerging trends, and platform capabilities. Solution Design & Development Oversight : Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Power Platform solutions, including : - Power Apps (Canvas, Model-driven) - Power Automate (Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows) - Power BI (Reports, Dashboards, Dataflows) - Power Virtual Agents - Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, performant, and maintainable. - Establish and enforce development standards, governance policies, and best practices. Project Management & Delivery : - Manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality -delivery. - Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements. - Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets. - Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies. - Utilize project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) to effectively manage projects. Team Leadership & Development : - Build, lead, mentor, and manage a team of Power Platform developers and administrators. - Foster a collaborative, high-performing, and innovative team culture. - Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to team members. - Conduct performance reviews and support professional development. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication : - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions. - Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior management. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams. Platform Governance & Administration : - Establish and maintain Power Platform governance policies and procedures. - Manage Power Platform environments, security, and access control. - Monitor platform usage, performance, and health. - Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations. Continuous Improvement & Innovation : - Stay up-to-date with the latest Power Platform features, updates, and best practices. - Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and methodologies. - Drive innovation by exploring and implementing new Power Platform capabilities. - Promote the adoption of Power Platform across the organization. Requirements : Qualifications : - Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Minimum of 9-13 years of progressive experience in IT, with significant and demonstrable experience in Microsoft Power Platform technologies. - Deep understanding of Power Platform architecture, capabilities, and limitations. - Strong understanding of data integration, data modeling, and data visualization concepts and tools. - Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex Power Platform projects in enterprise environments. - Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-oriented environment. - Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified : Power Platform Solution Architect Expert) are highly desirable. Preferred Skills : - Experience in the consulting industry. Proficiency in other Microsoft technologies, such as : - Azure (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL Database) - Dynamics 365 - Microsoft 365 - Experience with API development and integration. - Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-based applications. - Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) for Power Platform development and deployment. - Familiarity with various data sources and databases (e.g., Dataverse, SQL Server, SharePoint). - Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, JavaScript).
