Data Engineer II - ETL/Python

Job Description : We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer II to design, build, and optimize data pipelines and large-scale data processing systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Python, Databricks, Big Data technologies, and optionally Golang. Required Skills : - Strong programming skills in Python (mandatory) - Hands-on experience with Databricks for big data processing - Proficiency in handling Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Delta Lake, etc.) - Good knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, and pipeline orchestration - Familiarity with Golang (preferred, but not mandatory) - Solid understanding of distributed computing concepts - Experience in designing ETL workflows and optimizing data storage and retrieval Nice-to-Have Skills : - Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms - Working knowledge of CI/CD for data pipelines - Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks Ideal Candidate Traits : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and in Agile cross-functional teams - Good communication and collaboration skills (ref:hirist.tech)
