Python Test Engineer - Functional/Automation Testing

Job Title : Python Test Engineer Location : Bangalore Experience : 2 to 5 Years Job Description : We are seeking a Python Test Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience in Functional Testing, Automation Testing, API Testing, Data Validation, and Data Analysis. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in SQL and expertise in test automation using Python. Immediate joiners are preferred. Key Responsibilities : - Perform Functional, Automation, and API Testing to ensure software quality. - Develop and execute test automation scripts using Selenium and Python. - Conduct data validation and data analysis to verify system accuracy. - Test modern Microservices applications on leading cloud platforms, preferably AWS. - Work with test management tools like JIRA for tracking and reporting defects. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement test strategies. - Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies to ensure efficient testing cycles. - Prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery. - Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects and performance issues. Required Skills & Experience : - Strong proficiency in Python (mandatory). - Hands-on experience with Selenium for test automation. - Experience in Functional, API, and Automation Testing. - Fundamentals in SQL and experience in writing queries. - Experience in testing Microservices applications on AWS. - Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of an Agile team.
