Data Architect - Snowflake DB

Role : Senior Data Architect - Snowflake Location : Trivandrum / Bangalore / Chennai Experience : 12 Years Notice Period : Immediate Introduction : We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect - Snowflake with 12 years in data engineering, data architecture, and cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Snowflake, DataOps, and large-scale data migration while ensuring high-performance data solutions. Working Hours : 12 PM - 9 PM IST (with mandatory EST overlap for meetings) Key Responsibilities : - Architect & Design : Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance data solutions using Snowflake. - Stakeholder Collaboration : Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models. - Data Governance & Best Practices : Establish data architecture standards, DataOps methodologies, and governance frameworks. - Data Pipeline Implementation : Oversee ETL processes, data migration, and real-time streaming solutions. - Performance Optimization : Conduct Snowflake performance tuning and ensure efficient database management. - Technical Leadership : Mentor data engineers and collaborate across teams to enhance data capabilities. - Technology Trends : Stay updated on emerging Snowflake advancements and cloud data technologies. Required Qualifications : - Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields. - Certifications (Desirable, not mandatory) : SnowPro Core / SnowPro Advanced Architect / SnowPro Advanced Data Engineer Key Skills : Mandatory : - Snowflake Expertise : Strong knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and query optimization in Snowflake. - ETL & Data Migration : Experience with ETL pipelines, data integration, and large-scale data migration solutions. - Cloud Technologies : Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP. - Programming Skills : Proficiency in Python / Java / Scala, SQL. - SAP Experience : Hands-on experience working in SAP environments. - DataOps & Governance: Knowledge of data governance frameworks and DataOps best practices. - Real-Time Data Processing : Familiarity with real-time streaming and Change Data Capture (CDC) mechanisms. Secondary (Nice to Have) : Data Visualization : Experience with Tableau, Power BI. Data Security & Compliance : Knowledge of data security standards and compliance.
