The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in graphic design and user interface design, with a passion for crafting visually stunning and user-friendly digital products. This role requires a blend of artistic talent, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of user experience principles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enhance our digital platforms, ensuring a cohesive and engaging visual experience that aligns with our brand identity. Key Design: Create visually appealing graphics, icons, illustrations, and other UI elements for web and mobile applications, ensuring they are aligned with the brands visual identity and enhance the overall user experience. UI Design: Develop and implement innovative UI designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also intuitive and user-friendly. This includes designing layouts, colour schemes, typography, and interactive elements. UX Design : Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces. Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences. Brand Consistency: Ensure consistency in design across all digital platforms by adhering to brand guidelines and maintaining the design system. This involves creating and updating style guides, design templates, and UI pattern Work closely with product managers, developers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, user needs, and business goals. Translate these insights into effective design solutions that meet both user and business Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts. Use tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and Invision to create and share prototypes with stakeholders. User Research: Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights and feedback. Analyse research findings to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement and translate these into actionable design enhancements. Trends and Best Practices: Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies. Apply best practices in UI/UX design to ensure our digital products are modern, competitive, and meet the highest standards of usability and Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment. Share knowledge, offer constructive feedback, and help develop the skills of team members. Technical Skills Required Mandatory: HTML, CSS, Expert in Adobe Suit (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash) Preferred: JavaScript, Jquery, Dreamweaver, Wordpress, Adobe Business Catalyst, Drupal, Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design and UI / UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work across various digital platforms. Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus. Education: Bachelors degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in design are advantageous. Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Sketch, Figma, and prototyping tools like Invision or Axure. Strong skills in animation and motion graphics are a plus. Knowledge: Deep understanding of user-centric design principles, information architecture, interaction design, and accessibility standards. Familiarity with HTML/CSS and front-end development is Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions, present concepts to stakeholders, and collaborate effectively with team members. Creativity: Strong creative skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. Ability to think outside the box and bring innovative ideas to the Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify design challenges and develop effective solutions.
