Senior Software Engineer - PHP/MySQL

Job Responsibilities : - Roll out new features, conduct thorough analyses, and utilize data insights to enhance product quality. - Optimize existing functionality to improve performance and user experience. - Brainstorm and develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges. - Search creatively for efficient and scalable solutions for new features, with a focus on iterative improvements. - Create and enhance Management Information System (MIS) reports to provide valuable insights to management. - Analyze data to identify trends and patterns, and recommend data-driven improvements. - Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications. - Design and implement user interfaces that are both visually appealing and highly functional. - Build and maintain complex server-side applications and database architectures. - Write clean, maintainable, efficient, reliable, and secure code. - Adhere to coding standards and best practices. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. - Design and manage database schemas and queries using MySQL. - Ensure data integrity and optimize database performance. - Utilize distributed version control systems (i.e., Git) for code management. - Implement and manage regular deployments. Required Skills and Experience : - Minimum 1 years of professional experience in full-stack software development. - Top-notch programming skills with the ability to produce high-quality code. Strong proficiency in : - PHP (PHP 7) - Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) - SQL (MySQL) - AJAX - JavaScript - HTML - CSS - Responsive Web Design - Strong knowledge of MVC architecture, specifically YII-2 framework. - Experience with REST API development. - Solid understanding of CSS and JavaScript fundamentals. - Expertise in database design and concepts (MySQL). - Experience with distributed version control systems (i.e., Git). Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with other PHP frameworks (i.e., CodeIgniter, Laravel). - Experience with front-end frameworks (i.e., React, Angular). - Knowledge of server-side technologies and architecture. - Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms. - Experience with automated testing (ref:hirist.tech)
