Java Developer - OpenShift

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with OpenShift expertise to design, develop, and deploy enterprise applications in a containerized environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and OpenShift/Kubernetes. Key Responsibilities : - Develop, deploy, and maintain Java-based microservices on Red Hat OpenShift. - Work with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs to build scalable applications. - Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and security in a containerized environment. - Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools. - Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms for microservices. - Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and infrastructure scalability. - Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues. - Follow best coding practices, Agile methodologies, and test-driven development (TDD). Required Skills & Experience : - 6 years of experience in Java development. - Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST API development. - Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift (or Kubernetes) for container orchestration. - Knowledge of Docker, Helm, and OpenShift Operators. - Experience in Cloud-Native Application Development and CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with Relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.). - Understanding of API security, OAuth, and JWT authentication. - Proficiency in Git, Jenkins, and automation tools. Preferred Skills : - Experience with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems. - Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
