Quality Assurance Engineer - Playwright Testing/Cypress

Role : QA Engineer (Playwright & Cypress) Job Overview : We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with expertise in Java, Playwright, and Cypress to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of web applications through automated testing frameworks. Key Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Cypress. - Perform end-to-end testing, functional testing, and UI testing for web applications. - Write test cases in Java and integrate them into the automation framework. - Work closely with developers to ensure high-quality code releases. - Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution. - Identify, report, and track bugs and performance issues. - Stay updated with the latest testing tools, trends, and best practices. Required Skills & Experience : - 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance & Automation Testing. - Strong proficiency in Java for automation scripting. - Hands-on experience with Playwright and Cypress (must-have). - Expertise in writing and executing automated test cases. - Experience in API testing, performance testing, and cross-browser testing. - Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD automation. - Knowledge of Agile methodologies and test-driven development (TDD/BDD). Preferred Skills : - Experience with Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit. - Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs. - Strong understanding of DevOps & containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
