Cleareye - Senior Engineer - Machine Learning

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software engineering and a proven track record of developing and deploying advanced machine learning models, particularly in NLP, Computer Vision, and document extraction. You will be responsible for tackling complex challenges, contributing to cutting-edge research, and building robust, scalable solutions. We are looking for an immediate joiner who can quickly integrate and contribute to our ongoing projects. Responsibilities : Machine Learning Model Development and Deployment : - Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for NLP, Computer Vision, and document extraction tasks. - Utilize advanced transformer models (BERT, RoBERTa, GPT, etc.) to solve complex NLP challenges such as Named Entity Recognition (NER) and text classification. - Implement Computer Vision and OCR techniques for efficient document extraction. - Optimize and fine-tune models for performance and scalability in production environments. Software Engineering and Development : - Write high-quality, production-ready code with a focus on maintainability and efficiency. - Apply strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms to develop robust software solutions. - Develop and maintain REST APIs using Flask. Research and Innovation : - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, including Vision Transformers, Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). - Explore and implement cutting-edge ML concepts to solve challenging business problems. - Contribute to research and development efforts, pushing the boundaries of machine learning capabilities. Collaboration and Communication : - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers. - Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. MLOps and Tooling : - Utilize Python ML libraries such as Torch, Transformers, MLflow, Langchain, or LlamaIndex for model development and deployment. - Contribute to the development and maintenance of MLOps pipelines. Technical Skills : - Solid foundation in software engineering with expertise in data structures, algorithms, and writing high-quality production code. - Proven experience in solving NLP challenges like Named Entity Recognition (NER) and text classification, utilizing advanced transformer models (BERT, RoBERTa, GPT, etc.). - Skilled in applying Computer Vision and OCR for document extraction tasks. - Proficient in Python ML libraries including Torch, Transformers, MLflow, Langchain, or LlamaIndex. - Working knowledge of REST APIs and Flask. - Familiar with cutting-edge ML concepts such as Vision Transformers, Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). Experience : - 3 years of experience in machine learning engineering. Education : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with building scalable machine learning pipelines. - Experience working with large datasets.
