Mobile Tester - Performance Testing

Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Mobile Tester to join our dynamic team. As a Mobile Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality, performance, and overall user experience of our mobile applications across a variety of devices. This position requires someone who is proficient in mobile device testing, functional testing, and has strong manual testing skills. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication skills for clear bug reporting and collaboration with team members. Key Responsibilities : - Mobile Device Testing: Perform thorough testing of mobile applications across different platforms (iOS, Android) and devices. - Manual Testing: Conduct manual testing of mobile applications to ensure they meet functional requirements and quality standards. - Functional Testing: Validate features, functionalities, and user flows for mobile applications, ensuring the apps are bug-free and ready for release. - Desktop Front-End Testing: In addition to mobile apps, perform testing on desktop applications, ensuring smooth performance and functionality across browsers. - Bug Reporting: Effectively document and report identified bugs and issues in a clear, concise, and actionable format. - Provide detailed steps to reproduce bugs. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication around issues and updates. - Test Case Creation: Design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases based on requirements and user stories for both mobile and desktop applications. - Regression Testing: Ensure that new updates or features do not negatively affect existing functionality. Performance Testing: Perform testing to evaluate app performance, including load, speed, and responsiveness on mobile devices. Required Skills and Qualifications : - Experience : Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in mobile testing, including functional, manual, and front-end testing on desktop applications. - Mobile Testing : Proven experience with mobile device testing across both iOS and Android platforms. - Testing Tools : Familiarity with mobile testing tools and test automation frameworks (optional, but a plus). - Bug Reporting : Strong experience in documenting and reporting bugs clearly and effectively using tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar bug tracking systems. - Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills to report bugs, write detailed test cases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Attention to Detail : High attention to detail and the ability to identify, isolate, and report issues effectively. - Problem Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically. - - (ref:hirist.tech)
