Windchill Administrator - Customization & Integration

Job Description

Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Windchill Administrator to join our team at a well-known German Product Based MNC. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Windchill administration, with a strong understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) principles. This role will involve maintaining, configuring, and optimizing our Windchill environment to support our client's product development processes. The position is a full-time role with direct payroll from the client organization and will follow a hybrid work model, requiring 2 days of work from the office. Key Responsibilities : Windchill System Administration : - Install, configure, and maintain the Windchill PLM system. - Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions. - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. - Perform system backups and restores. - Implement and maintain Windchill customizations and configurations. PLM Process Support : - Support and optimize PLM processes using Windchill. - Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to ensure efficient use of Windchill. - Develop and maintain documentation for Windchill processes and procedures. - Provide training and support to Windchill users. Data Management : - Manage and maintain product data within Windchill. - Ensure data integrity and consistency. - Implement data migration and integration processes. - Develop and maintain Windchill workflows and lifecycle states. Customization and Integration : - Develop and maintain Windchill customizations using Java and other relevant technologies. - Integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CAD). - Develop and maintain Windchill reports and dashboards. Technical Support : - Provide technical support for Windchill users. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. - Participate in system upgrades and patches. Compliance and Security : - Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. - Implement security measures to protect Windchill data. Qualifications : Experience : 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Windchill administration. Technical Skills : - Strong understanding of Windchill architecture and administration. - Experience with Windchill configuration and customization. - Knowledge of PLM processes and best practices. - Experience with database administration (Oracle, SQL Server). - Proficiency in Java programming. - Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript). - Experience with CAD integration is a plus. Soft Skills : - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work in a hybrid work environment. Preferred Qualifications : - Windchill certifications. - Experience with specific Windchill modules (e.g., PDMLink, ProjectLink). - Experience with other PLM systems. - Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
