Experience : 4-6 years Location : Remote Job Description : We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Shopify Developer with 4-6 years of hands-on experience in developing, optimizing, and maintaining Shopify stores. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in both frontend and backend aspects of the Shopify platform, including customization of Shopify functionalities, payment gateway integrations, and third-party plugin deployments. Key Responsibilities : - Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores that align with business requirements. - Implement responsive frontend designs using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Build and manage scalable backend solutions on Shopify, including API integrations and application connections. - Create custom Shopify themes and modify pre-existing templates based on brand guidelines. - Configure and optimize Shopify Payments to ensure seamless transactions. - Integrate multiple payment gateways while ensuring compliance with security regulations. - Develop and implement third-party Shopify plugins and ensure seamless compatibility. - Work with cross-functional teams to design and execute marketplace integrations. - Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization to enhance user experience. Qualifications & Experience : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development (both frontend and backend). - Expertise in Liquid templating, Shopify APIs, Admin Functions, and theme customization. - Strong experience with Shopify Payments setup and multiple payment gateway integrations. - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES2015/ES6), and responsive design principles. - Experience in writing unit tests and ensuring code quality. - Hands-on experience with third-party Shopify plugins and marketplace integrations. - Proficient in version control systems such as Git. - Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design best practices.
