Job Overview : We are looking for a skilled Scrum Master to guide and support our agile development teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving agile methodologies, improving team efficiency, and ensuring smooth collaboration between teams and stakeholders. You will play a key role in fostering an agile culture, facilitating scrum ceremonies, and tracking team performance to help deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities : Agile Coaching & Facilitation : - Improve process management within the team to enhance productivity and efficiency. - Introduce and coach the team on agile methodologies such as estimation and planning. - Facilitate scrum ceremonies, including standups, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and sprint planning. - Assist in demo preparation and ensure effective stakeholder engagement. - Organize learning days and encourage knowledge-sharing among team members. Team Performance & Growth : - Collect team health check data, analyze metrics, and take action steps for continuous improvement. - Track sprint progress and proactively remove obstacles to ensure sprint goals are met. - Conduct 1-on-1 meetings with team members to provide mentorship and support career growth. - Work closely with the Engineering Manager to maintain an evaluation system for team members. - Organize team-building activities (both online and offline) to foster collaboration and engagement. Operational & Project Management : - Attend project sync meetings in the absence of the Engineering Manager. - Create and maintain monthly performance reports on team progress. - Manage a watchmen alert system, ensuring fair rotation for system monitoring duty. - Support capacity planning for upcoming sprints and assist with requirement gathering. - Handle access management for systems within the team's responsibility. - Work with other engineering teams to coordinate release management. - Prioritize support and enhancement tickets from the business department. Requirements & Qualifications : - Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an agile software development environment. - Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and best practices. - Experience in coaching teams, facilitating agile ceremonies, and improving agile adoption. - Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across teams. - Experience in tracking key performance metrics and using analytics for team improvements. - Familiarity with agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools. - Ability to work with engineering managers and leadership on strategic planning and evaluation. Preferred Qualifications : - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master certification. - Experience working with distributed and remote teams. - Prior experience in release coordination and access management.
