Location : Ahmedabad (SG Highway), Gujarat. Employment Type : Full Time. Job Opening : Sr DevOps Engineer (6-8 Yrs exp). Profile Summary : As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be integral to our DevOps initiatives, responsible for the full lifecycle of CI/CD processes and automation. You will work closely with client teams to implement and manage DevOps practices, ensure smooth deployment pipelines, and maintain robust and scalable infrastructure. Your role will involve creating and optimizing automated workflows and leveraging your scripting expertise to enhance system reliability and performance. Job Responsibilities : - Lead the design, implementation, and management of CI/CD pipelines for various client projects and products. - Collaborate with client engineering teams to integrate DevOps methodologies into their development workflows. - Develop automation scripts and tools using scripting languages such as Perl, Shell, Bash, or Python to enhance deployment processes and streamline operations. - Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to ensure consistent and scalable environments for clients. - Set up and maintain proactive monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to identify and resolve issues before they impact the client's service availability. - Work with client teams to design and develop self-healing systems and automated recovery solutions to minimize downtime. - Ensure all DevOps practices adhere to security and compliance standards, working closely with client security teams as needed. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and client meetings to provide updates, gather requirements, and ensure alignment on DevOps strategies and goals. - Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure the team's growth and adherence to best practices. - Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve the client's DevOps capabilities. What are we looking for : - 6-8 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in an IT services environment working on client projects. - Proven experience in end-to-end CI/CD management and implementation, including pipeline setup, optimization, and troubleshooting. - Strong scripting skills in Perl, Shell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Proficient in using configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. - Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps principles, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices. - Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog. - Familiarity with networking concepts, security best practices, and performance management. - Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience working in fast-paced, client-facing environments. - Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders. Preferred qualification : - Experience working with microservices architecture and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Helm. - Familiarity with database management (SQL and NoSQL) and caching solutions (Redis, Memcached). - Relevant certifications (e.g, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus. - Knowledge of serverless technologies and event-driven architectures. - Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as ELK Stack, Splunk, or New Relic.
