We offer impactful software development and support at competitive prices. Role Description : This is a full-time remote role for an AWS Glue Data Architect. The Data Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data architecture solutions using AWS Glue. Daily tasks include overseeing data governance, developing data models, and managing ETL processes along with data warehousing solutions. Qualifications : 7 years of experience in AWS Glue Data Engineer to lead the migration of data pipelines from IICS to AWS Glue, with Snowflake as the target data platform. This role requires strong experience with AWS Glue, including its Data Quality service, and familiarity with IICS to effectively reverse engineer existing pipelines. Will design and implement scalable ETL workflows, embed data quality checks, and mentor a team to ensure successful migration and integration with Snowflake. Key Responsibilities : - Lead the end-to-end migration of IICS pipelines to AWS Glue, integrating with Snowflake. - Utilize AWS Glue Data Quality service to implement data quality checks within ETL workflows. - Reverse engineer IICS pipelines to understand and replicate business logic in AWS Glue. - Collaborate with stakeholders to align on data requirements and optimize Snowflake performance. - Mentor team members on best practices for ETL, data quality, and governance. - Data Governance and Data Architecture skills. - Experience in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing. - Proficiency in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and remotely. - Experience with AWS Glue or similar data integration tools. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
