Lead Architect - Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning

About the Role : We are looking for a visionary and hands-on AI Architect Lead to drive the design, development, and implementation of scalable AI/ML solutions across our enterprise platforms. You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of AI initiatives, mentoring data scientists and engineers, and ensuring technical excellence in AI architectures. Key Responsibilities : AI Strategy & Architecture : - Define and maintain the enterprise AI architecture and roadmap. - Evaluate and select AI platforms, tools, and frameworks based on project requirements. - Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation. Solution Design & Development : - Design end-to-end AI/ML pipelines including data ingestion, preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, deployment, and monitoring. - Ensure architecture aligns with business needs, scalability, and maintainability. Technical Leadership : - Mentor and guide data scientists, ML engineers, and solution architects. - Set best practices for model development, version control, testing, and retraining workflows. Collaboration & Integration : - Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of AI models into products or services. - Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Governance & Ethics : - Define and enforce model governance, security, and ethical AI standards. - Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, DPDP Act, etc. Technical Skills & Tools : AI/ML Frameworks & Languages : - Python, R, Scala TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras Scikit-learn, XGBoost, & Infrastructure : - Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI Kubernetes, Docker, MLflow CI/CD tools : - Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Big Data & Data Engineering : - Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka Databricks, Snowflake SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) Data Visualization & BI : - Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Dash, & Monitoring : - MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, DVC Prometheus, Tools : - Git, Jira, Confluence, Postman, : - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience architecting and deploying AI/ML solutions at scale. - Strong understanding of machine learning lifecycle, data governance, and responsible AI. - Excellent problem-solving and communication Qualifications : - Experience in GenAI (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG architecture) Certifications in AI/ML (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty, Azure AI Engineer Associate) Prior experience in BFSI, Retail, Manufacturing, or Healthcare domains (ref:hirist.tech)
