Job Title : ServiceNow Domain Consultant Experience : 12-14 Years Location : Bangalore Notice Period : Immediate - 15 Days Job Overview : - We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Domain Consultant with expertise as a ServiceNow Developer and Administrator to join our team. - The consultant will work closely with clients to assess their ITSM, ITOM, and other ServiceNow-related needs, design and implement solutions, and provide ongoing support to ensure the successful adoption of best practices. Experience Required : - 12 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow development, administration, and consulting. - Strong experience in the manufacturing and education domains is preferred. Key Responsibilities : ServiceNow Administration & Development : - Act as a technical subject matter expert for the ServiceNow platform team, overseeing analysis, design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow modules and applications. - Translate business and technical requirements into implementation plans and document technical specifications. - Maintain architecture and integration documentation for the platform. - Deep functional and technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, delivering medium to large-scale implementations. - Expertise in ServiceNow Automation Engine components, including Integration Hub and RPA Engines (certification preferred). - Develop, install, and troubleshoot ServiceNow applications while ensuring best practices and security compliance. - Integrate ServiceNow with other platforms and monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, Sematext, Dynatrace, etc. - Develop custom applications and enhancements using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and scripting languages such as Python, VBScript, PowerShell. - Experience working with web services, APIs, databases, and business process automation. ITOM, CMDB & Discovery : - Design and implement Configuration Management Database (CMDB), including service mapping and event management capabilities. - Enhance ServiceNow event rules to ensure proper CMDB binding. - Develop and validate automated service health dashboards. - Manage ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping, ensuring correct identification, classification, and impact rules. - Work with credential-based and credential-less discovery techniques to enhance system integrations. - Implement and maintain Service Graph Connectors and Multisource CMDB to prevent duplicate CI entries. - Configure and manage MID Servers for seamless discovery and integrations. - Work with command-line console for advanced Service Mapping operations. - Optimize processes for efficiency, monitor performance, and implement continuous improvements. - Process Improvement & Client Engagement - Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for clients. - Conduct regular client reviews to ensure ServiceNow solutions align with business objectives. - Continuously evaluate and optimize ServiceNow processes to enhance effectiveness. - Develop comprehensive documentation, reports, and performance metrics for all implementations and upgrades. Qualifications and Skills Required : - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven 6 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow administration, development, and consulting. - Strong expertise in ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB within the ServiceNow ecosystem. - Experience with IT operations, including storage, networking, and enterprise computing. - Knowledge of Cloud Transformation, Digital Workplace Transformation, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics & AI. - Hands-on experience with ServiceNow tools such as ITSM, ITOM, Service Mapping, and Discovery. - Proficiency in SIAM, IT Strategy, and IT Operating Models. - Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team to drive ServiceNow implementation success. - ServiceNow Certifications (Preferred) : ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITOM, or CMDB).
