Java Backend Developer - Microservices Architecture

Responsibilities : - Play the role of developer of the team, under minimal guidance - Contribute on the technical aspects, code review, defect support, and prod implementation - Ensure best practices (including unit testing/code coverage, etc.) are implemented in the project - Work with various external teams (Front end, Testing, Product Management, 3rd party, etc.) to drive the project and resolve Experience : - Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related discipline - Must have a minimum of 3 years of development experience in Java - Must be hands-on with Java, Spring Boot, REST, Microservices, Netflix OSS/Spring Cloud, and Kafka - Must be able to write JUnit test cases and ensure code coverage is up to agreed standards - Must have real-time experience working in projects involving CI/CD - Good to have knowledge of being in an ecosystem involving the creation of Docker Images and its orchestration using Kubernetes - Good to have knowledge of AWS cloud services from a development integration perspective (ref:hirist.tech)
