Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our client's team. In this role, you will lead the analysis of business processes and systems, driving change initiatives and ensuring alignment between business needs and IT solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions that enhance business outcomes. Key Responsibilities : Business Process Analysis : - Lead the identification, review, and analysis of business processes and systems to understand design implications across Business, IT, and Operations. - Design and reengineer processes, providing detailed guidance on process design (considering risk, end-to-end impact, and cost). Requirements Management : - Lead requirements capture and ensure alignment with business objectives. - Manage and support impact assessments for change requests on design, scope, time, budget, or effort. - Provide accurate estimates for handling new requirements, design changes, and scope adjustments. Solution Implementation : - Manage the implementation of solutions, ensuring adherence to project milestones and budgets. - Develop control structures and performance scorecards (KPIs) to monitor project progress and employee engagement. Stakeholder Management : - Build and maintain strong relationships with WCL functional and delivery teams, other business areas, Group Functional Teams (Risk, Finance, IT), and operational support teams. - Manage relationships with external service providers. - Work with markets/regions to understand regulatory, customer, and competitive landscapes. Agile Expertise : - Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies and build Agile capabilities within teams. - Ensure the right processes are in place for Agile requirements capture. Customers / Stakeholders : - WCL functional and delivery teams. - Other business areas and lines as appropriate. - Group Functional Teams (Risk, Group Finance, IT). - Operational support teams. - Group & Regional teams. - Other Risk sub-functions - global and regional. Knowledge & Experience : - Excellent Business Analyst skills. - Strong analytical background with a high degree of attention to detail. - Experience working in cross-functional teams to drive requirements capture. - Proven experience in business and process analysis, change initiatives, and re-engineering. - Experience in planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives. - Strong Agile expertise and experience. Capabilities : - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. - Ability to challenge business intent constructively and define detailed business solutions. - Continuous drive for innovation and improvement. - Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills. - Ability to build strong relationships across Business, IT, and Operations. - Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. - Confidence to challenge existing protocols and processes. Technical Skills : Business Analysis Tools : - JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, Balsamiq, or similar tools. Requirements Management : - Requirements elicitation, documentation, and management. - Use case modeling, user story creation, and acceptance criteria definition. Process Modeling : - Business process modeling (BPMN), workflow analysis, and process optimization. Data Analysis : - SQL, Excel (advanced), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). - Data mining and data analysis experience. Agile Methodologies : - Scrum, Kanban, and Agile frameworks. - Experience with Agile project management tools. IT Systems & Architecture : - Understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and system architecture. - Understanding of API's and microservices. Financial Services (Preferred) : - Knowledge of financial markets, products, and regulations. - Understanding of risk management principles. Personal Attributes : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team (ref:hirist.tech)
