Genrobotic Innovations - Senior Control System Engineer - PLC/DCS Systems

Responsibilities : System Design & Development : - Design, develop, and implement control system architectures for various industrial processes. - Develop and program PLC/DCS systems (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell Automation, ABB). - Design and implement HMI/SCADA systems for process visualization and control. - Develop and implement control algorithms and strategies for optimal process Integration & Data Management : - Integrate control systems with IT infrastructure, including databases, networks, and cloud platforms. - Design and implement data acquisition and historian systems. - Develop and implement data analytics and reporting solutions for control system data. - Implement cybersecurity measures for control systems and & Communication : - Design and implement industrial network architectures (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP). - Configure and troubleshoot network devices and protocols. - Ensure secure and reliable communication between control systems and IT & IoT Integration : - Integrate control systems with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for remote monitoring and control. - Develop and implement IoT solutions for industrial automation. - Design and implement edge computing solutions for real-time data & Application Development : - Design and implement database schemas for control system data. - Develop custom applications and scripts for data processing and visualization. - Utilize programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, Java) for application development and data Management & Leadership : - Lead control system integration projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. - Develop project plans, specifications, and documentation. - Manage project risks and issues. - Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior Optimization & Maintenance : - Optimize control system performance for efficiency and reliability. - Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs. - Perform system upgrades and & Compliance : - Conduct safety assessments and implement safety-related control functions. - Develop and maintain safety Documentation : - Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system designs, drawings, and operating procedures. - Prepare reports and presentations for : : - 8-10 years of professional experience in control system engineering with a strong IT focus. - Proven experience in designing and implementing PLC/DCS and HMI/SCADA systems. - Experience in integrating control systems with IT infrastructure. - Experience in leading control system Skills : - Expert-level knowledge of control theory and automation systems. - Proficiency in PLC/DCS programming (ladder logic, function block diagrams). - Proficiency in HMI/SCADA development. - Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP). - Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model). - Experience with database systems (SQL, NoSQL). - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Proficiency in programming languages (Python, C#, Java). - Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and Skills : - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Leadership and mentorship : - Bachelor's degree in Control Systems Engineering, or a related field (ref:hirist.tech)
