Senior Salesforce Certinia Developer - Apex/Visual Force

Role Overview : As a Senior Developer for Certinia, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem, with a specialized focus on Certinia (FinancialForce) applications. This position requires close collaboration with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and fellow developers to create scalable, high-performance applications that align with business needs and industry best practices. You will leverage Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and other Salesforce technologies to build solutions that enhance business processes and streamline financial operations. Key Responsibilities : - Solution Design & Development : Architect, design, and develop end-to-end solutions within the Certinia (FinancialForce) platform, ensuring seamless customization, configuration, and integration with existing Salesforce applications. - Requirements Analysis : Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and key stakeholders to gather, refine, and translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. - Certinia PSA Automation : Utilize Certinia PSA automation to streamline project management, resource planning, time tracking, expense management, billing, and revenue recognition processes. - Custom Development : Implement and maintain Apex Classes, Triggers, Batch Jobs, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and declarative tools, ensuring high performance and scalability. - Enhancements & Module Development : Develop and enhance Certinia modules, including but not limited to Professional Services Automation (PSA), Accounting, Revenue Management, and Order-to-Cash workflows. - Best Practices & Governance : Ensure strict adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, security protocols, and governance limits, optimizing solutions for scalability and long-term sustainability. - Performance Optimization : Analyze and enhance system performance through efficient data handling, code optimization, governor limit monitoring, and indexing strategies. - Technical Documentation : Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, user guides, and deployment instructions. - Testing & Quality Assurance : Conduct thorough unit testing and collaborate with QA teams to ensure seamless integration testing and end-to-end validations before deployment. - Deployment & Support : Provide post-deployment support, troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and ensure system stability through proactive monitoring and enhancements. - Mentorship & Code Reviews : Guide and mentor junior developers, participate in code reviews, and promote knowledge sharing to uphold high-quality development standards. Qualifications & Experience : - 5 years of experience in Salesforce development, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Certinia (FinancialForce). - Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and JavaScript. - In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Platform Architecture, Governor Limits, Multi-Tenant Environment, and Best Practices. - Extensive experience with Certinia PSA, Accounting, Revenue Management, and Order-to-Cash workflows. - Advanced proficiency in SOQL and SOSL for optimized querying and data retrieval. - Hands-on experience with integration technologies such as REST, SOAP APIs, and middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Jitterbit). - Proficiency in version control systems, such as GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps. - Expert problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset. - Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification preferred. - Certinia (FinancialForce) certifications are a strong plus. - Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
