Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) to join our dynamic team. As a Pega SSA, you will be a key contributor in the design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable Pega-based solutions for our clients. You will leverage your deep understanding of the Pega platform to lead development activities, ensure adherence to best practices, and collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. Responsibilities : Solution Design & Architecture : - Collaborate with Pega Lead System Architects (LSA) and Engagement Leads to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Pega solutions. - Participate in the design and planning of Pega applications, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical feasibility. - Contribute to the development of technical specifications and design documents. Pega Development & Configuration : - Lead and participate in the development and configuration of Pega applications, including case management, workflow design, data modeling, UI development, and integration. - Utilize Pega best practices and guardrails to ensure the quality, performance, and maintainability of the developed solutions. - Develop and configure Pega components such as sections, flow actions, data pages, activities, integrations, and reports. Code Quality & Review : - Perform thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to Pega standards, best practices, and project requirements. - Provide constructive feedback to development team members to improve code quality and consistency. - Ensure compliance with Pega Guardrails and address any identified violations. Collaboration & Communication : - Work closely with Pega Business Architects to understand and refine user stories and requirements. - Effectively communicate progress, risks, and issues to the client and project manager. - Collaborate with other development team members, testers, and business analysts to ensure seamless project delivery. - Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Technical Leadership & Mentorship : - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior Pega developers. - Contribute to the development of internal knowledge sharing and best practice documentation. - Stay up-to-date with the latest Pega features and functionalities and recommend their adoption where appropriate. Testing & Deployment Support : - Support testing efforts by troubleshooting and resolving defects. - Assist with the deployment of Pega applications to various environments. Performance Tuning & Optimization : - Identify and address performance bottlenecks in Pega applications. - Implement optimization techniques to ensure application responsiveness and scalability. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience : 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Pega design and development. Pega Certification : Certified Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) is mandatory. Technical Skills : - Strong expertise in Pega PRPC/Pega Platform (version 8.x and above preferred). - Solid understanding of Pega architecture, design principles, and best practices. - Proficiency in Pega Case Management, Workflow Design, and UI development. - Experience with Pega integration services (Connectors and Services). - Familiarity with Pega Data Management and Reporting. - Understanding of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL. - Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML. - Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
