Job Title : ATG Endeca Developer Experience : 5 to 10 Years Locations : Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata Job Type : Full-Time Department : E-Commerce / Digital Commerce Development Industry : IT Services / E-Commerce / Retail Technology Job Summary : We are looking for a seasoned and highly skilled ATG Endeca Developer to join our growing digital commerce team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle ATG Web Commerce and Oracle Endeca, and will be responsible for developing, integrating, and optimizing e-commerce solutions for large-scale enterprise applications. You will be a key contributor to the design, architecture, and implementation of personalized and scalable online shopping experiences. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, QA, DevOps, and business analysts to deliver seamless and high-performance e-commerce platforms. Key Responsibilities : Oracle ATG Development : - Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance applications using Oracle ATG Web Commerce (Dynamo, BCC, CSC, CA, etc.). - Customize ATG components such as Product Catalog, Cart, Checkout, Promotions, and Personalization modules. - Implement custom ATG pipelines, droplet components, repositories, and business logic for e-commerce solutions. Oracle Endeca Integration : - Integrate and optimize Oracle Endeca for dynamic, faceted search and guided navigation experiences. - Develop Endeca pipelines, ingestion processes, and configuration for dynamic content indexing and retrieval. - Customize and tune Endeca features such as Experience Manager, Page Builder, and search rules to enhance search relevance and personalization. Performance Optimization : - Analyze and improve system performance, including memory and CPU usage, caching (JSP, ATG, Endeca), and thread management. - Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in large-scale e-commerce environments. Collaboration & Communication : - Work closely with the UI/UX team to implement front-end features and maintain a consistent user experience. - Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to ensure robust testing and smooth CI/CD pipelines. - Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and Agile/Scrum standups. Technical Documentation & Support : - Document design specifications, development procedures, and operational workflows. - Provide post-deployment support and enhancements, ensuring a smooth customer experience. - Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership in areas of expertise. Required Skills and Qualifications : - 5 to 15 years of hands-on experience in Oracle ATG Web Commerce development. - Strong expertise in Oracle Endeca tools including Endeca Experience Manager (XM), Page Builder, Indexing, and Search Configuration. - Solid knowledge of Java/J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Web Services, and MVC architecture. - Experience working with ATG Commerce modules : Catalog, Cart, Order, Checkout, Promotions, Profile, and Personalization. - Hands-on experience with Endeca Content Acquisition System (CAS) and Endeca Information Discovery Studio. - Experience with SQL/PL-SQL, Oracle DB, and NoSQL databases (preferred). - Familiarity with web technologies : HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery. - Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and integration with third-party systems. - Exposure to cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus. - Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Git, and build pipelines. Soft Skills : - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum development environments. - Capable of mentoring junior team members and leading development efforts. Preferred Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Oracle certifications in ATG or Endeca (preferred but not mandatory). - Prior experience working on large-scale e-commerce platforms or retail projects.
