Zensar Technologies - ServiceNow HRSD Technical & Solution Architect - Cross-Platform Integration

Job Title : ServiceNow HRSD Technical & Solution Architect (Cross-Platform Integration). Location : All Zensar Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days. Job Summary : . We are looking for a seasoned ServiceNow HRSD Technical & Solution Architect with extensive expertise in HR technology architecture, cross-platform integrations, and enterprise HR workflows. This role requires deep technical understanding of ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and security models, as well as working knowledge of Workday Extend and integration frameworks between ServiceNow and Workday. The architect will play a key role in advising Absa on the technical feasibility, security implications, and architectural strategy for either optimizing ServiceNow, enabling coexistence with Workday, or migrating to Workday as a primary HR platform. Key Responsibilities : . Platform Architecture & Customization Feasibility : - Evaluate the existing ServiceNow HRSD architecture, customizations, integrations, and extensions implemented at Absa. - Analyze current workflows, service catalogs, lifecycle events, and HR integrations. - Assess the feasibility, scalability, and sustainability of existing or proposed enhancements for Absa's unique HR service needs. - Recommend technical design patterns for optimizing existing ServiceNow solutions, including the use of Virtual Agent, Mobile, AI Search, and HR Document Management. Integration Strategy & Platform Interoperability : . - Design and review integration frameworks for ServiceNow - Workday (using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, Workday Studio, etc. - Compare and evaluate ServiceNow Integration Hub capabilities vs. Workday Extend, including custom app development and cross-platform orchestration. Provide recommendations on the most efficient and secure methods of integrating : - Employee data sync (Workday to SNOW). - Case initiation and resolution flows. - Lifecycle event orchestration. - Role-based access management. Dual Platform Feasibility & Migration Roadmap : - Evaluate the feasibility of maintaining dual-platform architecture (ServiceNow HRSD Workday Help/Extend). - Identify pain points, cost implications, redundancy risks, and maintenance efforts of dual vs. single-platform models. - Support business case development for migration to Workday Help/Extend or retaining ServiceNow as a strategic service layer. Security & Compliance Architecture : - Assess current ServiceNow security model and its alignment with enterprise security policies (e.g, RBAC, ACLs, data separation). - Recommend architecture and security enhancements aligned with data privacy, compliance (GDPR, POPIA), and access control requirements. - Advise on Workday security considerations and implications of integrating with or transitioning from ServiceNow. Stakeholder Collaboration & Documentation : - Collaborate with HR functional teams, Enterprise Architects, Security teams, and Workday/ServiceNow product owners. - Lead architecture reviews, technical workshops, and governance sessions. - Produce solution architecture documents, decision logs, risk assessments, and integration blueprints. Required Qualifications & Skills : - 8 years of experience in enterprise architecture, with minimum 4 years in ServiceNow HRSD or ITSM. - Proven experience in architecting and integrating ServiceNow with Workday, including both inbound and outbound data flows. Deep knowledge of : - ServiceNow architecture, data models, integration hub, and scoped applications. - Workday Extend and Workday Integration Studio. - Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, MID servers, SSO, OAuth2, SCIM, and data transformation logic. - Strong knowledge of enterprise security architecture, including data encryption, secure authentication, and access control. - Ability to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and cost-effective technical designs. Preferred Qualifications : - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Application Developer. - Certified Implementation Specialist - HRSD. - Workday certifications in Integrations or Extend. - Experience working in BFSI sector, preferably for a global organization like Absa. - Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g, TOGAF).
