Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Selenium/Playwright Testing

Candidate Experience : Seeking 4 years of experience. Job Description : We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience in software testing, including manual testing, automation testing using Selenium/Playwright, Cucumber BDD, and API testing. The ideal candidate should have a passion for quality assurance and possess strong problem-solving and communication skills. Experience in performance and load testing on Azure Cloud is an added advantage. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for manual and automated testing. - Automate test cases using Selenium/Playwright and Cucumber BDD frameworks. - Perform API testing using tools like Postman, REST-assured, or equivalent. - Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery. - Identify, report, and track software defects, ensuring resolution and quality improvement. - Conduct regression, smoke, integration, and system testing as needed. - Analyze test results, generate test reports, and provide detailed feedback to stakeholders. Desired Skills and Experience : Must-Have Skills : - 3-6 years of experience in manual testing and automation testing using Selenium/Playwright. - Experience in Cucumber BDD for behavior-driven development. - Hands-on experience with API testing (REST/SOAP). - Proficiency in writing test scripts and maintaining automation frameworks. - Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC). Good-to-Have Skills : - Experience in performance testing and load testing. - Familiarity with Azure Cloud and related services for testing and deployment. - Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or Azure Load Testing.
