Lead Python Engineer - Django Frameworks

Job Title : Lead Python Engineer (Django) Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Python Engineer with extensive Django experience to join our Scrum team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing scalable web applications, leading development teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role involves both leadership and hands-on development responsibilities, including overseeing the maintenance, enhancement, and security of existing applications to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability. Key Responsibilities : - Lead and mentor a team of developers in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications using Python and Django. - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables. - Architect and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions. - Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices. - Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain efficiency. - Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance the development process. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. - Actively contribute to development efforts, including coding and debugging as needed. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with AWS and infrastructure management to enhance project delivery, scalability, and release management. - Strong database expertise in MySQL and PostgreSQL for efficient database design and management. Requirements : - Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams. - Strong understanding of web application architecture, design patterns, and best practices. - Extensive experience in Python and Django for backend development. - Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). - Proficiency in database design and management (PostgreSQL or MySQL). - Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines; AWS experience is a plus. - Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project requirements. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
