Application Developer - Java/React.js

Job Description :. We are seeking an Application Developer who develops Java/React JS code for intermediate modules, participates in design reviews, conducts code reviews, creates test plans, and resolves moderate defects. This Developer also designs, documents, reviews, and maintains components of software solutions for intermediate projects. The role also includes responding to production problems and supporting production changes where those applications are operating Key Responsibilities :. - Develop Java/React JS code for intermediate modules - Participate in design reviews and conduct code reviews - Create test plans and resolve moderate defects - Design, document, review, and maintain software components for intermediate projects - Support production changes and react to production issues - Collaborate across various time zones and lead technical conversations - Ensure accountability for key processes of high complexity, high risk, and high visibility Required Qualifications :. - 5 to 8 years of experience in Java and Full Stack Development - Strong understanding of Java development concepts - Advanced SQL skills, including debugging and tuning - Knowledge of Java programming, SQL, and Unix - Exposure to Agile methodologies - Experience in Java development and web front-end development Preferred Qualifications :. - Knowledge of the Insurance business is a plus - Experience deploying to cloud environments - Exposure to test-driven development - Wide experience with a diverse set of technologies, approaches, and tools.
