Oracle FCCS Consultant

Position: FCCS (Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service) Consultant Location: PAN India Experience: 5 - 12 Years Company: Talent Worx (Recruiting for a Leading Client) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled FCCS (Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service) Consultant to join our client's growing team. This role demands a deep understanding of Oracle EPM cloud solutions, particularly FCCS, and a proven track record of successful end-to-end implementations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in building and configuring financial consolidation and close solutions, developing complex calculations, and designing insightful reports. Responsibilities : FCCS Application Implementation : - Lead and execute full lifecycle implementations of Oracle EPM FCCS applications. - Gather and analyze business requirements to design and develop effective consolidation and close models. - Configure and customize FCCS applications to meet specific business needs, including Statutory reporting, Management Reporting, Multi-GAAP, IFRS, CbCr Reporting, Allocations, Intercompany eliminations, and Currency translations. - Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources. Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Expertise : - Utilize deep knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) to design and optimize FCCS solutions. - Migrate existing HFM applications to FCCS. - Develop and maintain HFM and FCCS rules and metadata. Financial Close Management (FCM) and Reporting : - Implement Hyperion Financial Close Management (FCM) to streamline financial close processes. - Develop and maintain reports using Smart View and Hyperion Financial Reporting (HFR). - Design and implement insightful management reports and dashboards. Data Integration : - Utilize Data Management or FDMEE for data integration between source systems (ERP, HCM) and FCCS. - Design and implement data load processes. - Troubleshoot data integration issues. - Calculation Scripting and Business Rules: - Develop and maintain complex Business Rules, Calc Scripts, and Calc Manager rules to cater to various business functionalities. - Optimize calculation performance and ensure data integrity. - Implement allocation methodologies. Metadata Management: - Read, write, and amend FCCS/HFM metadata, understanding the impact on the system. - Ensure metadata accuracy and consistency. Security and User Management : - Design and implement security models, including user groups and provisioning. - Manage user access and permissions within FCCS. - Ensure data security and compliance. Project Lifecycle Participation : - Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. - - Provide technical support and training to end-users. Requirements : Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field. Technical Skills : - Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle EPM FCCS. - Strong knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Hyperion Financial Close Management (FCM). - Proficiency in Data Management or FDMEE for data integration. - Experience with Smart View and Hyperion Financial Reporting (HFR). - Expertise in writing Business Rules, Calc Scripts, and Calc Manager rules. - Strong metadata management skills. Functional Skills : - Deep understanding of financial consolidation and close processes. - Knowledge of Statutory reporting, Management Reporting, Multi-GAAP, IFRS, CbCr Reporting, Allocations, Intercompany eliminations, and Currency translations. - Understanding of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting. - Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. - Communication and Interpersonal Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - - Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience : - Minimum of 5-12 years of experience in implementing and supporting FCCS and HFM solutions. - Proven track record of successful end-to-end implementations.
