UAT Test Engineer - Defect Tracking Tools

UAT Testing User Acceptance Testing are looking for a skilled UAT Tester to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the software product meets the necessary standards and fulfills user requirements through comprehensive testing. Responsibilities : - Design and execute test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) based on project requirements. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze user requirements and expectations. - Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies found during testing. - Ensure that the software meets business requirements and is ready for production deployment. - Conduct regression testing to confirm that fixes and enhancements work as intended. - Prepare and present UAT test reports to stakeholders and project teams. - Provide support and training to end-users during the UAT phase. Skills and Qualifications : - 4-10 years of experience in UAT testing or related field. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. - Experience with test case creation, execution, and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Quality Center). - Proficient in writing clear and concise documentation. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
