SAP MDG Technical Consultant

Domain : Software Engineer Position : SAP MDG Technical Experience : 4-8 Years Location : Bangalore We are seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Technical Consultant with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience within an overall IT experience of 5 years. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting SAP MDG solutions for our clients. Your role will involve working on implementation projects, developing new features, and providing technical expertise in MDG across various master data domains. Responsibilities : - Design and develop new features and functionalities within the SAP MDG application based on business requirements. - Develop prototypes of solutions as required to demonstrate feasibility and gather feedback. - Participate in the design and configuration of SAP MDG solutions for Material, Customer, Vendor, Financial masters, etc. - Perform thorough testing and validation of developments done by yourself and other team members to ensure quality and adherence to specifications. - Provide assistance and resolution for Level 2 and Level 3 support issues related to SAP MDG. - Provide deep insights into the capabilities of SAP MDG in the context of Schneider Electric's potential use cases and other client scenarios. - Leverage your experience in MDG Process Modeling, Change Request setup, and Change Request Step definition based on requirements. - Demonstrate hands-on experience in at least one full lifecycle implementation project involving SAP MDG solutions for master data domains (Material, Customer, Vendor, Financial masters, etc.). - Possess knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA Migration projects and the role of SAP MDG in data migration. - Provide active support during the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase and the critical go-live period of MDG implementation projects. Your Capabilities : - Strong hands-on experience in SAP MDG configuration. - Proficient in MDG Data Modeling. - Expertise in MDG UI Modeling (User Interface). - Solid understanding and practical application of MDG Process Modeling. - Experience with ALE/IDOCs for data exchange and integration. - Knowledge of various Data Replication Techniques within SAP MDG. - Proven experience in MDG error handling and troubleshooting. - Experience with Webservices for integration purposes. - Familiarity with Webdynpro development. - Good understanding of SAP NetWeaver architecture. - Strong ABAP development skills. - Experience in ABAP Reporting. - Proficient in using LSMW and other Migration Tools for data migration. - Hands-on experience with BRF (Business Rule Framework plus). - Experience in BADI (Business Add-Ins) Implementations. - Familiarity with FPM (Floorplan Manager) for UI development. - Strong understanding of ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS). - Knowledge of SAP Workflow for process automation. - Experience with SAP Information Steward. - Knowledge of SAP Data Services. - Understanding of SAP HANA and its impact on MDG. - Experience in working with global teams and diverse cultural environments. - Excellent communication and presentation skills.
