Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled Rubrik Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Rubrik Cloud Data Management, backup policies, disaster recovery planning, and troubleshooting backup-related issues in hybrid and multi-cloud Responsibilities : - Design, implement, and manage Rubrik backup and recovery solutions across on-premises and cloud environments. - Configure backup policies, retention, replication, and disaster recovery strategies. - Monitor backup jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure data integrity. - Perform capacity planning and optimization for storage and backup infrastructure. - Work closely with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to align backup strategies with business continuity plans. - Conduct regular backup and restore testing to validate data recovery processes. - Stay updated with Rubrik features, patches, and industry best practices. - Provide technical support, documentation, and training for internal teams. - Implement and manage Rubrik Cloud Vault (RCV) for secure offsite backup and long-term data retention. - Ensure compliance with RCV security best practices and regulatory requirements. - Perform Rubrik cluster bootstrapping, initial setup, and configuration for new Skills & Qualifications : - Strong experience with Rubrik Cloud Data Management (CDM) and backup administration. - Knowledge of backup best practices, RPO/RTO strategies, and disaster recovery planning. - Familiarity with Nutanix, VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure, or GCP integration with Rubrik. - Hands-on experience in backup scheduling, retention policies, and archival solutions. - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for backup failure analysis. - Understanding of security and compliance standards related to data protection. - Experience with Rubrik Cloud Vault (RCV) and offsite backup management. - Hands-on experience with Rubrik cluster bootstrapping and deployment best practices. - Excellent communication and documentation (Preferred but not Mandatory) : - Rubrik Certified Systems Administrator (RCSA) - Rubrik Certified Professional (RCP) (ref:hirist.tech)
