Salesforce Vlocity Developer

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Vlocity Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both Vlocity and the Salesforce platform and will be instrumental in the migration of Vlocity capabilities to native Salesforce functionalities. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong problem-solving mindset, solid technical skills, and a passion for building scalable, maintainable solutions based on business requirements. Key Responsibilities : - Thoroughly analyze existing Vlocity configurations, data models, and business processes to understand their functionality and identify optimal strategies and approaches for migration to native Salesforce. - Develop detailed technical migration plans, outlining the steps, timelines, and potential challenges involved in transitioning Vlocity capabilities to Salesforce. - Design, build, and implement scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, fields, relationships, Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and asynchronous processing, to replicate or enhance Vlocity functionalities. - Develop user-friendly and efficient interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Visualforce pages as needed. - Utilize OmniStudio tools (OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, and FlexCards) to build guided experiences, data transformations, and reusable UI components within the Salesforce environment, ensuring parity or improvement over existing Vlocity implementations. - Configure and customize Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud functionalities, including process builders, workflows, validation rules, profiles, roles, and permissions, to support migrated processes. - Refactor existing Vlocity configurations and Salesforce code to improve system performance, scalability, and maintainability, reducing technical debt. - Collaborate effectively with business analysts, solution architects, QA testers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure alignment throughout the development lifecycle. - Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, implementation plans, data mappings, and configuration details, to ensure clarity and maintainability of the implemented solutions. - Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, contributing to effective team communication and project progress. - Efficiently troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues within both the Salesforce and migrated Vlocity components in a timely manner to minimize system disruptions. - Monitor system performance and identify potential bottlenecks or areas for optimization. - Continuously stay updated with the latest Salesforce and Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) releases, features, best practices, and security updates, and proactively recommend and implement relevant improvements. - Design and implement integrations between Salesforce, migrated Vlocity components, and other third-party systems using REST and SOAP APIs. - Work with middleware tools such as MuleSoft (if applicable) to facilitate complex integrations. - Implement and maintain Salesforce security features, including profiles, roles, sharing rules, and field-level security, to ensure data integrity and compliance. Required Skills and Qualifications : - Proficient in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. - In-depth knowledge of Salesforce architecture and standard components. - Strong command over Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and asynchronous processing. - Experience with Visualforce pages and Lightning Components. - Proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC). - Expertise in process builders, workflows, validation rules, profiles, roles, and permissions. - Hands-on experience in configuring Salesforce objects, fields, and relationships. - Strong experience with OmniStudio tools : OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, and FlexCards. - Hands-on Vlocity configuration and customization experience. - Ability to design and implement Vlocity business processes and guided interactions. - Experience with REST and SOAP APIs. - Familiarity with middleware tools such as MuleSoft. - Proficiency in integrating Vlocity with Salesforce Core and third-party systems. - Understanding of Salesforce security features including profiles, roles, sharing rules, and field-level Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
